Windows Phone 7 "Nodo" Update rolling out
Microsoft have begun rolling out the long-awaited "Nodo" update to Windows Phone 7. This update brings the promised copy & paste capability as well as a number of other updates:
- Ability to access the Global Address List on Exchange 2003 (previously it was Exchange 2007 or later)
- Faster apps and games performance (but no multi-tasking yet)
- Improved Marketplace search
- WiFi improvements (you can now locate your device wireless MAC address in settings, previously you couldn’t making it difficult to access wireless networks that employ MAC filtering)
The next update, codenamed “Mango”, scheduled for release before the end of the year, will bring multi-tasking and the mobile version of Internet Explorer 9.

Updates to the Windows Phone 7 platform are installed onto devices by connecting them to your Windows or Mac computer. On Windows you will need to have the Zune Desktop software installed, on Mac the Windows Phone 7 Connector.
