In order to configure MMS settings on the Motorola ES400 there are two procedures you will need to complete:
In this guide I shall run through how to configure MMS settings for the common UK networks.
Tap on Start and select Settings

Select Connections

Select Connections again

Select the option to add a new modem connection

Enter in a name for the connection, this can be anything meaningful to you to identify the connection
In the Select a Modem drop-down menu, be sure to select Cellular Line (GPRS)

Tap Next
In the Access Point Name (APN) for your network operator:
Vodafone - wap.vodafone.co.uk
Orange - orangewap
O2 - wap.o2.co.uk
T-Mobile - general.t-mobile.uk
Three - mms.three.co.uk

Tap Next:
Enter in the username and password for your network operator:
Vodafone - "wap" for both
Orange - "orange" and "Multimedia"
O2 - "o2wap" and "password"
T-Mobile - "user" and "wap"
Three - leave blank

Tap Finish.
Your GPRS / 3G connection is now configured.
IMPORTANT - If you are using a Vodafone SIM, there is an additional configuration step required. This is only required for Vodafone connections.
Return to the Connections screen and select the option to Set up my proxy server:

Tick both available options:

Tap on the Advanced button:

Tap on WAP:

Enter in a Server and Port value as shown above:
Server - 212.183.137.12
Port - 8799
Tap OK, then OK again, then OK a third time.
Tap on Start and select Text

Tap on the Menu button and select MMS Options:

Tap across to the Servers tab:

Select New:

Enter in a name for the MMS connection, again this can be anything meaningful to you to identify the entry.
In the Gateway field enter in the appropriate field for your network operator:
Vodafone - 212.183.137.12
Orange - 192.168.71.35
O2 - 193.113.200.195
T-Mobile - 149.254.1.10
Three - 217.171.129.2
In the Port Number field enter the appropriate value for your operator:
Vodafone - 9201
Orange - 9201
O2 - 9201
T-Mobile - 9201
Three - 8799
In the Server Address field enter in the appropriate value for your operator:
Vodafone - http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms/
Orange - http://mms.orange.co.uk/
O2 - http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
T-Mobile - http://mmsc.t-mobile.co.uk:8002/
