The Media Link is a DLNA wireless HDMI media receiver. Compatible with the HTC Desire Z and the Desire HD, the unit acts as a wireless hotspot that can be connected to an HDMI-capable television. When connected to the Media Link unit via WiFi, you can stream video, images and music via the unit to your television, controlling playback directly from your phone.
Supporting DLNA, the Media Link can also be accessed directly from a PC running Windows 7.
When connected to the TV, and the TV set to the appropriate HDMI input, the Media Link will display its current configuration:

To connect to the Media Link from your HTC device, search for available wireless networks and connect to the Media Link network:

You will be prompted to enter a key for the connection, by default the key is "1234567890"
Once connected, you can then select the Media Link as an available player within your media applications:

To configure settings on the Media Link device from your PC, connect to the Media Link wireless network, entering the same wireless key of "1234567890":

Open a web browser and connect to the default IP address of "http://192.168.1.100:8080"

Enter the same password again, "1234567890"

Here you can adjust wireless broadcast, playback and password settings. If you want to connect the Media Link to your existing wireless network, so you can connect to the Internet at the same time as streaming media to the Media Link over the same wireless network, select the option to Add Wireless Network and connect the Media Link to your existing network. The device's network status will be displayed on the TV for reference.
An application is also available for download from the HTC Hub enabling you to configure the Media Link unit directly from your Android device:
