BlackBerry Mobile Fusion is essentially a web interface, designed for use by helpdesk environments, which can interface with your existing BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express, BlackBerry Device Service for PlayBook 2.0 or the Universal Device Service for iOS and Android, or a combination of all four.
Administrators can still access the BES, BDS or UDS to define policy settings and add and remove users, the Mobile Fusion Studio provides a simple "at-a-glance" interface to perform common administrative tasks.
More information, including a 60-day trial can be downloaded from the BlackBerry web site - http://us.blackberry.com/business/software/mobilefusion/
The Mobile Fusion Studio can be installed as a separate package on an existing BES, BESX or BDS server, or on a standalone server running Windows Server 2003 SP2 or later.
Launch the setup utility from the downloaded installer package. Select the option to perform a custom installation if bundled with the BlackBerry Device Service and select the option to install the BlackBerry Mobile Fusion Studio:

Specify where you want the required program files and logs to be stored:

Click Next, your installation selections will be displayed:

Click Install. After a few moments the installation will be complete:

Click Next, the following window will be displayed:

By default the Mobile Fusion Service web site will install itself on port 443. If you are installing the service on a server that already runs BES, BESX or BDS, then this port will already be in use by the BlackBerry Administration Service so a different port will need to be specified, this can be anything suitable for your deployment.
You will need to replace the default Keystore password from "password" to something else, again this can anything.
You will need to add an MDM domain - ie you will need to add the BES, BESX or BDS server(s) you want the Mobile Fusion Studio to be able to connect to.
Click on Add and enter in the FQDN of the BlackBerry Administration Service, and the actual web URL to get to that instance:

You'll be prompted to accept the certificate that the BAS returns:

Which will then add the domain to the list:

You can add additional domains should you wish to manage multiple servers.
When finished, click Next and ensure that the Mobile Fusion service starts successfully:

Click Next, your installation is now complete. Make a note of the URL to access the Mobile Fusion Studio web interface (a shortcut will also be added to the Start Menu):

Launching the shortcut will open the browser and prompt you to log in. Here you can choose BlackBerry authentication or Active Directory authentication depending on how the BlackBerry Administration Service was configured.

Once logged in you can select your MDM domain, if more than one was configured, and search for or select the user you wish to manage:

Selecting a user will display information about that user and their device(s)

From here common administrative tasks can be performed, such as generating new activation passwords, changing device passwords, erasing devices and re-sending policy and service book details.
